What is Mybids all about?
Mybids Enterprise [Biz no: 001746955-K] is an Online Charity Auction & E-commerce
avenue where members get to either bid for an activity with the person on auction or purchase products at discounted prices. All proceeds from the Activity Auctions go to charity.

Why is bidding attractive in Mybids?
Winners of the Activity Auctions get a guaranteed opportunity to go out with the person on auction for the stated activity. All bids collected (bidding fee collected) will go to charity.

How does Mybids work?
The objective of each bidder is to find the highest unique bid amount by
placing bids, and to ensure that he or she holds this bid amount (which
varies) till the end of the auction. The bidder who holds the highest unique
bid when the auction ends wins and he or she has the right to go out with the person on auction for an activity. See Placing Bids for an example of how
this works. Each bidder is required to pay a bidding fee in order
to submit a bid.

Who is eligible to participate in Mybids Auction?
Anyone above 18 years of age with a valid IC and currently resides in Malaysia.

What are the benefits of joining Mybids?
- As a Mybids member, you are entitled to participate in our quarterly free
bids auction of which there is no bidding fee charged for bids submitted.
- Free bids will be awarded to members who refer friends that activate their
membership with Mybids. These free bids can be used in any active auctions.
- Mybids enables you to check your bid status immediately after bidding.
This gives you the opportunity to plan and strategize your bidding skills.
- Mybids may impose a bid limit or daily bid limit in auctions to ensure
that there is equal winning opportunity among bidders.
- Mybids has a bidding history page for bidders to analyze the bidding trends.
This will enable bidders to make better decisions while participating in
the auction.
- Members are able to purchase items without bidding.
- Items purchased in Mybids come with free delivery in Malaysia, unless
stated otherwise.

How much does it cost to join as a member of Mybids?
Membership is free of charge.

Who are listed in Mybids Activity Auctions?
People who have spare time in their hands and wish to meet up new friends for a good cause.

Are there any warranty provided for the items bought
in Mybids?
All items listed on Mybids are brand new and original. It comes with original manufacturer warranty, unless stated otherwise.
Online receipt will be issued once payment for the product has been received.

What if the person on auction did not turn up for the activity?
Mybids will refund all bidders the credits they have used and we will ban the person on auction for life for breaking the agreement. Do take note that all participants on MyBids Activity Auction have to sign an agreement with MyBids before we put their time up on auction for an activity.

How much does it cost to submit a bid?
Bidding fees varies depending on the item on auction. In general,
it will cost between RM1.00 to RM5.00 for placing a bid.

How many bids can I submit per auction?
You may submit as many bids as you wish provided:
a)The “bid limit” or “daily bid limit” is not stated
in the auction. “Bid limit” & “daily bid limit”
may be used to provide a more equal winning opportunity among bidders. If
the bid limit is 100, you may bid up to 100 times till the auction ends.
If the daily bid limit is 10, you may only submit 10 bids per day till the
auction closes.
b) The maximum number of bids has not been reached.

Is your website secure for credit card transactions?
All information provided to Mybids by its members is stored in the most
secure manner possible. Transactions are secured through reputable payment
gateway providers, ie Ipay88. Bank transfers are secured through respective
bank telegraphic transfer services. Members’ details are encrypted
to prevent unauthorized reading of private information.

When can I submit bids?
Bids can be submitted anytime as long as the auction is still open.

How many activities are bidders bidding in each auction?
Unless stated otherwise, each auction is for one activity.

What does the “Closing Soon” sign mean?
Closing soon sign appears when either 75% of the maximum number of bids
has been reached or there are less than 2 more days left till the auction’s
closing date.

When does the auction end?
The auction ends when either one of the following happens (whichever comes
1st):
a)The maximum number of bids has been reached.
b)The closing date and time of the auction has been reached.

How do I know if an auction is closed?
A “Closed” banner will appear on the item picture. All members
who have participated in the auction will be sent an email notifying them
the result of the auction.

What if the highest unique bidder decides not to go out for an activity with
the person on auction after winning the auction?
Opportunity will be given to the second highest unique bidder to have an activity with the person on auction at the second highest unique bid price.

How do I know if my bid was submitted?
A confirmation message will be displayed after the submission of a bid.
You may check your bid status in “My Active Bid Status” link
under Account Summary column.

Are bid credits or bidding fee refundable?
Bid credits purchased and bidding fee paid are non-transferable and non-refundable.

When must I make payment for the activty auction won?
Payment of the Highest Unique Amount must be paid within 2 working days after auction ends. Activities between both parties (winner and person on auction) will be arranged as soon as payment has been received and cleared.

How do I make payment for the auctions won or items bought?
Payment can be made via Ipay88, or Bank Transfers (eg. Maybank2u)

What is the minimum and maximum amount of credits
that I can purchase at one time?
The minimum credit purchase is RM1 while the maximum credit purchase is
RM5000.

How long do I have to wait for items bought
to be delivered?
Items won or bought will usually take no longer than 10 working days.

What if there is no highest unique bidder at the end of the auction (all bids are not unique)?
The winner will be the first bidder who submits the highest amount of bid with the least amount of people bidding on the same amount.
